Methyl-Isobutyl-Ketone is a colorless and flammable liquid used in the laboratory as an organic solvent and in industries as a solvent for paints, glues tinctures etc. Exposure happens commonly through the respiratory system and to a lesser degree through the skin, therefore it can result irritate the mucous and skin. Exposure to high concentrations can cause vertigo, nausea and vomit that are rapidly reversible after exposure has ceased.
